Back then I predicted 38-7 in Clemson’s favor questioning the Yellow Jackets ability to score against Clemson and not much has changed on that front.

This was the game last year that was the eye opener for Clemson fans.  When your offense struggles against a team that had given up 125 points in the two previous matchups with Clemson it’s a sign.  When that team goes on to finish 3-9, well you don’t need stats to tell you how bad your team played.

Clemson hasn’t lost a home game since 2016, but came perilously close against one of the ACCs worst teams.

I do think the Tigers come out with a purpose, but let’s face it, it’s the opener and mistakes will be made.  That and my guess is when the Tigers open it up we’ll see the second/third team in fairly early as Dabo tends to do.

Not much of a change, but change  nonetheless.

It’s been a long time since Clemson has a problem with an FCS team, even last season the Tigers steamrolled S.C. State before the above mentioned scare against Georgia Tech.

Back then I projected 49-7 in Clemson’s favor and this score is very similar.

This game is 5 days after the opener, so expect a lot of running and a lot of backups getting reps.
