Happy August, Tiger nation.

Clemson football starts this month. That feels good to say. Confidence springs eternal for every fan base, and over confidence springs eternal for South Carolina fans. We are past the point of media days, but there is still time to wait before games kick off.

We’re at the point in the summer where I am stoked to watch a pre-season NFL game where the stars will not play. We’re also at the point where I am digging up every corner of the internet to find what scrimmages and jamborees are happening near my house.

We are starved for football at the moment.

So, before I ratchet up the coverage for the upcoming season, I figured I would do one last semi-puff piece to put a nice quaint bow on talking season.

I’m here to talk about 5 dream home and home series for Clemson.

What’s the criteria? There are none. These are just match ups that I think would be cool to travel to and would be fun to have their fans in Clemson for a big-time game. Also, I made sure they don’t have a game on the books already, so you won’t see any LSUs or Oklahomas listed.

You won’t see a ton of “Blue Blood” teams on here, but that’s not to say that if Clemson was to schedule a home and home tomorrow with the likes of Alabama, USC, Ohio State, or Michigan I wouldn’t be excited. I most definitely would, but I like to think outside the box a little bit on these.

To the list!
