#1 – North Carolina State Wolfpack – 10/1 – Home

Clemson does not lose at home.  It has been since the 2016 season when Clemson lost to Pitt in a game where they could not stop the tight end screen.  What some fans may not remember is that during the same season NC State literally kicked themselves to defeat when they had essentially a chip-shot field goal to beat the Tigers in the Valley.  They tried again in 2021…

We all know what happened last season where NC State beat the Tigers in Raleigh in a game that neither team seemed to want to win.  The monkey have been removed off Head Coach Dave Doeren’s back, at least for now.  It took an unbelievably good effort in overtime to beat a beat up Tigers team

NC State is loaded on paper, led by Heisman hopeful Devin Leary.  Their defense is nearly as vaunted as their offense led by linebacker Peyton Wilson.  This will be a very tough game for the Tigers as it usually is with the Pack.

If the Tigers are healthy after a tough game the week before versus Wake Forest, they could get back on their winning ways against the Pack, but it is going to take a great effort.

NC State, the TOUGHEST game of the season for the Clemson Tigers.
