#7 – Florida State Seminoles – 10/15 – Tallahassee, FL

Mike Norvell enters his 3rd season in Tallahassee as the head coach and there really have not been outward improvements noticed.  However, Florida State always has athletes.  Gone are the days that this game was the biggest nerve-wracking game of the season.  A make or break game in Clemson’s season.  It’s just not there currently.  Hopefully, barring changes to the ACC or realignment, this game will once again have some meaning.

I do not like where this game falls in the schedule at all.  The last of the games in, arguably the toughest stretch of the season for the Tigers (@Wake Forest, NC State, @BC and @FSU).

Florida State has a serviceable QB with Jordan Travis, and they’ll have playmakers on defense as well.  Adding former 5-Star WR Mycah Pittman from Oregon and a couple of transfer offensive linemen should help.  But still not much of a worry for the Tigers in 2022.
