Texas Tech at NC State

When: Saturday, September 17, 2022

Where: Carter-Finley Stadium, Raleigh, NC

Why: NC State is a legitimate contender to win the Atlantic Division, win the ACC Championship and go to the playoff. Except for the Clemson game, the Wolfpack will likely be the favorite in all the other games they play, including this matchup against the Red Raiders in Raleigh.

The problem is that very few people really think Coach Dave Doeren and NC State can pull any of that off because they are well known for inexplicably stubbing their toe and giving up games they shouldn’t. A game like this is the classic example of a game State should win, but in the past would lose.

Texas Tech has a new coach. They are expected to finish in the bottom half of the Big 12. The game is at Carter-Finley Stadium. Clemson’s SOS can’t afford for the Wolfpack to lay an egg in this game and then proceed to beat up on the other teams of the ACC Atlantic. Clemson needs State to win this game.
