Offensive Line: Maverick Morris

Another support staffer to follow Bowden to UL Monroe is Morris, whose departure opened up a spot for Thomas Austin to rejoin the support staff. Austin has now been promoted to offensive line coach, and early reviews indicate that his presence has been a positive for the group. Hopefully we see that on the field in 2022 and beyond.

A change at offensive line coach probably isn’t likely, but if Austin were to find a new opportunity (perhaps in the NFL? Austin spent some time there too), then Morris makes sense here. He played for Dabo, he tied for 12th Man Award for the offense in 2016, and he has a bachelor’s and master’s degree from Clemson.

Tyrone Crowder is another candidate here. He currently is on the support staff working with offensive player development.
