Clemson football: ESPN FPI projections – Yes or no?

OK, this is what I’m calling the ole switcheroo.  I just told you I didn’t think the Tigers make the playoff, so why am I still writing?  Because I’m making up the rules as I go.

IF Clemson made it to the playoff, that would mean they’re better and healthier and more improved than I realized in June and that means I think they likely win the in the semi-final, so YES on that one.

Ultimately, I think the Tigers fall short should they make the title game.  I think there are a couple more complete and better teams than Clemson, be it Ohio State, Alabama or even Georgia, so I’ve got to go with NO on the National Championship.

Perhaps that’s not what anyone wanted to hear after reading 1,223 words filled with bad jokes, but that’s how I’m feeling in mid-June.
