The huge recruiting weekend for Clemson football is underway.

By now you’re likely acutely aware that it’s a huge recruiting weekend for Clemson football as over thirty recruits are on campus.

Clemson is adjusting to the new realities of recruiting, be it NIL or recruits developing favorites earlier in their high school careers.

An area of need, as it always seems to be is offensive line and to that end the Tigers have at least 5 that will be among the visitors this weekend.

Jason Priester, lead recruiting analyst at All Clemson.com shares his thoughts on where the Tigers stand with the offensive line targets in the video below.

Offensive line is important, but it’s not the only position group the Tigers are focused on this weekend

While the offensive line is obviously a big deal, it’s not the only position group that will have big time targets in Clemson this weekend and Priester goes on to detail the wide receivers and defensive linemen in particular, including five star Peter Woods.

Priester maintains his stance that the Tigers have a chance with Woods.

"A kid doesn’t come to visit that often, that many times, unless there’s genuine interest.  I think there’s a lot there that Peter Woods likes about Clemson."

To be clear, Priester is not saying Clemson is the favorite by any stretch, that would be Alabama, and Priester acknowledges how difficult it would be to pull Woods from his home state.

We like to think if a kid makes it to Clemson’s campus there’s a good chance the deal gets sealed.  That isn’t likely the case with Woods, but it could be with some others visiting this weekend.

Another big name Priester opines on is four star defensive end A.J. Hoffler from Atlanta, who was thought to favor Ohio State at one point.  Again, Priester believes the Tigers have a chance.

The big weekend we’ve waited for is here and the results could go a long way for the Tigers future.
