6. Jordan McFadden – Offensive Tackle, SR (RS)

  • Second-team All-ACC in 2021
  • 1,971 career snaps over 42 career games

2022 will be McFadden’s third season starting at tackle for the Tigers, spending 2020 on the right, then moving to the left last year. He is the leader of the group and pitched in to take snaps at center in spring when there was some doubt about who would step into that role.

NFL draft analysts have been fairly consistent with their reviews of McFadden: they like him as a prospect….at guard. Teams need their best guys at their most important position (tackle), so McFadden has gotten little time inside, but scouts see his frame and picture him playing guard in the NFL.

It’s doubtful that McFadden would elect to play another season in college, even if he were to move inside. He will turn 23 during the 2022 season, and the clock is ticking to get his pro career started.
