8. Joseph Ngata – Wide Receiver, SR

  • 47 receptions
  • 761 receiving yards
  • 4 receiving touchdowns
  • Averages 23.2 yards on 14 kickoff returns

Ngata has proven he has the talent. Lost in the offensive woes of 2021’s season opener against Georgia was Ngata breaking the 100 yard mark in receiving yards.

Ngata’s problem is staying healthy. Coach Swinney says it:

"”The best ability is availability.”"

….but the NFL knows it too. He has to show he can stay healthy for an entire year. If he can, and his draft stock goes up, it would be very risky for Ngata to return to Clemson as a super senior.
