4. @ Florida State 10/15 – Week 7

Next on the list of most important games is Florida State. Don’t get me wrong here, most important and biggest are two different things, and likely a future subject of an article.
I put Florida State here because of the stretch that Clemson is coming off of when this game hits in week 7. Tallahassee has not been a great place for the Tigers to play HISTORICALLY. I understand the Tigers have not lost there in quite some time during the recent dominance over the entire conference. Playing a seemingly much improved Florida State team in Mike Norvell’s third season could be difficult, especially after playing @ Wake Forest, vs. NC State, and @ Boston College in successive weeks.
Personnel wise, Florida State always has the athletes, and has lacked some direction and focus. They have recently been a team that you could beat early in the games by taking away their will. Norvell has the Seminoles going in a positive direction after hitting near rock-bottom from the previous coaching regime. (and one that new Miami head coach Mario Cristobal was a part of…hmmmm…)
