It’s difficult to believe that Miller is now 32 years old and on the backside of his career. He’s played for Seattle, Tampa, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Philadelphia, St. Louis, Philadelphia again and now Texas.
He’s been acting as a jack of all trades, playing left, third and some right field for the struggling Rangers, while batting .192 with two home runs and ten RBI in 52 at-bats.
Miller seemed like an odd fit for a team that spent half a billion dollars on it’s middle infield this offseason, but the Rangers were intrigued with his 20 homers in Philadelphia and his versatility in the field.
