Slot – Who’s in the slot?  There’s. no doubt the Tigers offense suffered in 2021 from the absence of the type of slot players as in past seasons.

Third and six was once called third and Renfrow for a reason.  There was hope that Troy Stellato would fill this position, but after just 23 snaps and 2 receptions for 15 yards in 2021, Dabo Swinney has shared doubts Stellato will be able to get and stay healthy enough to stay on the field, leaving a huge question mark as the Tigers try to rebound in 2022.

This position, whoever ends up there is crucial to the Tigers getting back to the ACC Championship Game and College Football Playoff in 2022.
