Linebackers: Who plays where?
The same question exists in the linebacking corps, but for different reasons. They have a new coach in Wes Goodwin and two big holes to fill with the exits of James Skalski and Brandon Spector. The idea at linebacker is to find the best three players to put on the field, which might involve moving some players around.
Trenton Simpson was a star in 2021 at the SAM, but he could be moving to WILL so Barrett Carter can get on the field. Then there are at least four other guys, some of whom have put in their dues, that are trying to see the starting lineup as well. I expect to see a lot of shifting to see what & who works best.
