Clemson Game Today: Clemson vs. Boston College injury report, spread, over/under, schedule, live Stream, TV channel
The No. 25-ranked Clemson Tigers will return back to Death Valley this Saturday evening to take on ACC Atlantic Division opponent Boston College in a game that will have a major impact on the divisional race for the remainder of this season.
The Tigers fell to 2-2 overall on the season and dropped to 1-1 in conference play following a double-overtime loss to N.C. State in Raleigh last weekend.
Now, they’re on the outside-looking in as they hope to get back into the divisional race to preserve what is left of the season and make the most of what opportunities still lie ahead of them.
Clemson Injury Report vs. Boston College Week 5
The Tigers will be without their two starting defensive tackles due to injury. Bryan Bresee tore his ACL in the game against NC State and he’ll be out for the season. Tyler Davis tore his bicep two weeks ago and the estimated time for his return is looking to be around 5-7 more weeks.
In addition to being without those two stars, Clemson will also be without starting running back Will Shipley, who hurt his leg in the overtime bout against NC State. He’ll be out for several weeks– estimated to be around a month– before he’ll be able to return.
Lastly, we’re keeping an eye on starting LB James Skalski. No word has been given on Skalski’s availability to this point, but he was out for the majority of the NC State game and he is considered day-to-day currently.
Clemson vs Boston College Odds, Spread, Over/Under & Betting Pick Week 5
WynnBET’s Week 5 CFB odds have Clemson listed as a 15-point favorite at home. It’s intriguing to see the line for this game so high considering the fact that the Tigers haven’t scored more than 14 points in regulation against an FBS team this entire season.
When you combine that with the injuries that the Tigers are suffering and the confidence that Boston College has heading into this one, we’ll take the Eagles to cover that hefty line. The Tigers may escape with a victory, but if they do it will most likely be another ugly affair where the defense has to come up with a play– perhaps a turnover– to get the job done.
