Three questions Clemson football will have to answer vs. Boston College

3. Is there any fire left for the rest of the season?

One of the biggest questions I have for this team heading into the Boston College game is their body language.

There hasn’t been a point this low in the Clemson football program in quite some time– like back in 2010, 2014– and it’s going to be interesting to see if they have any fire left for the rest of the season.

When adversity strikes against Boston College, does the offense fold or do they come back with some fire?

Justyn Ross, who is supposed to be a veteran leader on this offense, has had bad body language the entire season. It’s time for him, in particular, to step up and become a vocal leader on this offense. He needs to be an encourager rather than having to have others come around him.

This team needs its leaders to step up and they need to show some fire this weekend.

The ACC Championship is still an attainable goal. A New Year’s Six Bowl is still something that could happen.

But, it won’t happen if they continue to play the way they have and it’s going to be interesting to see if they show any fire or if this team is simply just dead in the water. I think we’ll be able to tell fairly quickly Saturday night what the case is, either way.
