Three questions Clemson football will have to answer vs. Boston College

2. Can the offense actually address the problems?

We all know the Clemson defense is elite. Honestly, the defense even without a few starters is still one of the best units in the country.

The problem, however, lies on the offensive side of the ball basically everywhere.

The communication between the offensive line has been bad. They’ve missed assignments at times and there have been instances where they just haven’t meshed well.

D.J. Uiagalelei has made some spectacular throws, but for every spectacular pass he completes, he throws seven abysmal incompletions. The wide receivers aren’t creating separation, either.

If all that wasn’t bad enough, Clemson will now be without starting RB Will Shipley for at least a month following a leg injury he suffered against N.C. State.

We don’t have the answers for how this offense gets better, honestly. But, we do know that Clemson has coaches making millions of dollars who should be tasked to figure it out.

Do they take the next step this weekend and begin to work through some of those problems or do we continue to see much of the same that we’ve been seeing?
