The 2021 Clemson football season will open up with the Georgia Bulldogs in Bank of America Stadium this Saturday in Charlotte.

The Tigers and Bulldogs come into this seismic matchup both as top-five teams and the winner of this one will have the inside track on a berth in the CFB Playoff.

We’ve talked a lot about what the Tigers need to do to pick up a win and the talent that they possess, but today let’s take a look at the other sideline with three Bulldogs who could be a problem for the Tigers.

For this exercise, we’ve decided to take some of the obvious names like J.T. Daniels and Jordan Davis out of consideration.

Three UGA Bulldogs who could be a problem for Clemson football

1. OLB Adam Anderson

The single-biggest concern for most Clemson fans coming into this season is the offensive line.

The Tigers struggled mightily in that category last season and while they look to be much more physical up-front this year, nothing can be for certain until we see it on the field.

UGA OLB Adam Anderson is the team’s sack leader and he’s a guy who is going to be tasked with doing a variety of different things. But the most important of his functions will be getting in the backfield and trying to disrupt D.J. Uiagalelei.

Anderson is very good at using his explosiveness to his advantage and he’s a player that the Tigers are going to have to ‘key in’ on if they want to have success at winning the battle at the lines of scrimmage.
