The Clemson football team will enter the 2021 season as one of the odds-on favorites to compete for a spot in the CFB Playoff and potentially win the National Championship.

The Tigers have made six-straight CFB Playoff appearances and have won two National Titles in the last six years and they enter this season with a bit of a chip on their shoulder as many national analysts are doubting what they’ll be able to accomplish following the losses of Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne.

Despite those losses, WynnBet still has high odds for Clemson football to win the National Championship.

BetSided published the most updated odds with Alabama leading the charge at +185 following by Clemson at +250. After the Tigers, Ohio State is listed as +325 followed by Georgia (+425) and Oklahoma (+550).

Interestingly enough, Louisville is listed with the same odds as LSU (+3000), which makes almost no sense to us and North Carolina is listed in the group with +4000 odds, which seems rather low.

Clemson football is a national powerhouse and the oddsmakers know it

There’s a reason that the Tigers lose two historical greats like Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne and they’re still given the second-best odds to win the National Title.

It’s because of that name recognition and the respect Dabo Swinney has garnered as a program builder.

Looking at the 2021 team, you can certainly see how the pieces could come together for the Tigers to win it all. D.J. Uiagalelei is being lauded as having the strongest arm in Clemson football history. The Tigers have playmakers all over the field on offense. The defense is going to have an NFL front and should be much-improved from last season. The coaching staff stayed intact and the Tigers added C.J. Spiller to the mix.

All of these are reasons to believe that Clemson will ultimately end up as the National Champion.
