7. @ South Carolina Gamecocks (Nov. 27)

I know what you’re thinking: On the road at Williams-Brice Stadium, how could that possibly be ranked so low? Oh wait, you weren’t thinking that?

South Carolina fans have big plans with their new head coach in Shane Beamer, but let’s make no mistake about it: The Gamecocks are still lightyears behind the Tigers.

When you look at the fact that this rivalry game wasn’t able to be played last year and the amount of emphasis that is going to be placed on this year’s game, there’s no way in my opinion that we see Clemson show up with anything less than its ‘A game.’

If the Tigers are going to show up with their ‘A game’- and they certainly won’t be overlooking their in-state rival who avoided a loss last year by the game not being played- it won’t matter where the game is played or how much ‘fire’ the Gamecock faithful have coming into the matchup. This will be an absolute shellacking.

South Carolina is steps ahead of Syracuse and Georgia Tech and the Gamecocks are recruiting at a higher level, but this will not be a game that the Tigers struggle to win.
