1. Trevor Lawrence and Pantene

The one Clemson football player in the history of the program who could’ve benefitted most from NIL is Trevor Lawrence and, honestly, it’s not even debatable.

Ever since he entered college, there was an intrigue about him. He drew the attention of the national media and he took the CFB world by storm in a way that we really haven’t seen anyone else do in quite some time.

Lawrence was the guaranteed No. 1 overall pick when he entered the NFL Draft and he had the eyes of the nation fixed on him ever since his freshman season, when he led the Tigers to a 44-16 win over Alabama in the National Championship.

The most perfect NIL opportunity for him to never happen- at least while he was at Clemson-? Pantene.

Lawrence revealed that he uses Pantene back in January of 2019 and you can only imagine what a deal could’ve looked like had NIL been around at that point.
