Clemson football: 3 Tigers poised to make the most NIL money
1. D.J. Uiagalelei
Just like Bresee, D.J. Uiagalelei is only going to presumably have one season to benefit from name, image and likeness. But it’s not going to matter.
The quarterback of one of the top powers in the nation is going to have plenty of offers and Uiagalelei isn’t just any quarterback.
Most believe he’s going to be the first quarterback taken in the 2023 NFL Draft and there’s a shot he could even vie for that No. 1 overall pick before it’s all said and done.
Just as we saw with Trevor Lawrence this spring, we could see major national companies come calling Uiagalelei when it’s legal for him to benefit from NIL. There could be shoe deals, apparel agreements and branding opportunities just within a few weeks.
