3. A plethora of defensive ends

I know we’re only trying to peg five prospects, but the truth is that the Tigers are still sorting through their board at defensive end.

The coaching staff has a better idea now than it did a couple of months ago, but there are still a ton of names to watch at the position. Honestly, we’ve still got it at eight deep.

  • 5-star Jeremiah Alexander
  • 5-star Shemar Stewart
  • 4-star Enai White
  • 4-star Cyrus Moss
  • 4-star Kenyatta Jackson
  • 4-star Jihaad Campbell
  • 4-star DJ Wesolak
  • 4-star Nyjalik Kelly

Clemson’s latest offer in the 2022 cycle was to 4-star Nyjalik Kelly, but the Tigers have been tied to each of these other listed prospects at one time or another.

Shemar Stewart is likely to keep his recruitment open for the majority of the cycle. Enai White is extremely interested in Clemson, but the Tigers don’t allow official visits until the fall and he is leaning towards making a decision before his senior season. Cyrus Moss, Jihaad Campbell, Jeremiah Alexander and Kenyatta Jackson all need to get on campus likely for things to trend in the right direction.

Clemson will likely take two defensive ends in this class, but who the top targets are at this point is still yet to be determined.
