There are a lot of people that have seemingly forgotten all about star Clemson football wide receiver Justyn Ross.
Yes, it feels like it has been a decade since he put on a show in the 2018 national title game against Alabama where he had 2021 NFL first-round defensive back Patrick Surtain II turned every which way and made him look like a below-average college football player.
However, Ross missed just one season and people seem to have forgotten just how elite he is. No disrespect to other elite guys in college football, but none of them are Justyn Ross and quite frankly there is no comparison to him.
The Clemson football star took exception to a ranking on social media

Ross was all over social media this week as an Auburn blog site hinted that Ross would be transferring to Auburn. After Justyn came out and said he was not leaving Clemson and reminded everyone who he is, the site wanted to play dumb and act like they had nothing to do with the rumor.
That said, Wednesday night, an Oklahoma fan Twitter account with more than 5,000 followers, out their 2021 college football receiver rankings, and Ross was not pleased.

“Big Game Boomer” listed their top 50 receivers for 2021 and had two Clemson receivers in the mix. They had Frank Ladson Jr at number 34 and Justyn Ross at number 50. Yes, you read that correctly, this person believes that there are 49 other receivers in the country better than Justyn.
While we won’t get too much into the ridiculousness of this statement, what we will point out is this account has George Pickens as the sixth-best receiver in the country. Pickens will more than likely miss most of the season after tearing his ACL in March during UGA’s spring practice.
Even if Pickens was 100 percent healthy, he still wouldn’t be worthy enough to carry Ross’s pads let alone be ranked 43 spots higher than Justyn on any rankings list.
The good news is that Justyn seems to be on track and is hopeful that his surgeon in Pittsburgh will clear him to return to full contact before fall camp starts and Clemson football marches toward their seventh consecutive College Football Playoff appearance.
