Clemson football fans will have their eyes and ears tuned to the 2021 NFL Draft this weekend as they await to see where they favorite former Tigers will end up as they begin their professional careers.

Over the course of the last few years, the Clemson football program has done as good of a job as anyone in putting quality talent in the league and that is going to continue this spring.

Clemson is expected to have five players taken in the draft this weekend.

Here’s a look at the order in which we expect the Tigers to come off the board.

1. Trevor Lawrence

It should come as no surprise in who the first Tiger is going to be to come off the board. As a matter of fact, he won’t just be the first Tiger, he’ll be the first player.

Trevor Lawrence is expected to make Clemson football history Thursday evening when he is selected with the No. 1 overall pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars.

It’s the worst-kept secret in the league that the Jags are going to take Lawrence. They’ve already reportedly given him the playbook to study and it’s seemingly been a foregone conclusion that he’d end up in Jacksonville ever since the Jags earned the No. 1 pick.

Lawrence has already signed two endorsement deals at the time of this writing- one with Gatorade and one with Blockfolio (a cryptocurrency app)- and we can expect that many other businesses will want to jump on the train, as well.
