1. What doubters say: Trevor Lawrence can’t live up to the hype (ie. He’ll be a bust)

Lawrence has been hyped up since he before he even came to high school.

He has lived his life in the eyes of the media. Every single thing he did was documented by media when he was at Clemson. He has been in the spotlight for years and has yet to crack.

You can’t teach that.

Lawrence had all the hype in the world coming out of high school and what did he do? He left Clemson with a National Championship, three CFB Playoff appearances and three ACC Championships. He is considered one of the top two QBs in program history.

He certainly lived up to the billing there.

Maybe he won’t reach the potential that people have set out for him, but there’s no doubt in my mind that Lawrence is going to be a successful quarterback at the next level.

Why? Well, it’s pretty simple. He will step in with one of the strongest and most talented arms in the league and has proven over and over again that he’s a winner. He’s a leader by example and has everything you could ask for in a quarterback prospect from a skills perspective.

At some point, we need to stop overthinking things.
