Bryan Bresee has been an absolute monster for Clemson football this spring

The Clemson football spring practice season is beginning to come to an end and plenty of things have come and gone over the last two months, but one thing remains the same: Bryan Bresee is an absolute monster.

Of all the outstanding performers this spring- and there have been quite a few- Bresee might just be at the top of the list.

It didn’t take long for Clemson football fans to realize that the Tigers had something special when Bresee stepped on campus. As the 247 Sports’ Composite No. 1 Player in the Nation in the class of 2020, there was plenty of hype surrounding what he could be and he showed that potential during his freshman season.

Bresee came in and took over a starting job along the defensive line.

Now, in his second year, the sophomore has been an outstanding performer and even leader for Clemson football

Bresee sticks out like a sore thumb when you see him on a practice field or in a game. He stands tall at 6-foot-5 and weighs nearly 300 pounds.

Despite his impressive physique, Bresee is quick on his feet and extremely explosive. If the Tigers wanted to, they could use him outside but they choose to use his strength and explosiveness along the inside combined with Tyler Davis.

Dabo Swinney told the media that Bresee “is a problem” and that he has been one of the most impressive players of the entire spring. He forced a safety during the Tigers’ scrimmage on Friday and has been all over the field during the few scrimmage sessions.

The word that comes to mind? Monster.

Look for Bresee to take the next step this season at reaching his All-American potential. There’s nothing standing in his way from a big fall and he has the capability of leading Clemson to becoming the nation’s best defensive line.
