4 prospects most likely to commit next in 2022 Clemson football recruiting class

The Clemson football program has a total of four commits- all 4-stars- in the class of 2022 so far, but things are just starting to heat up.

The Tigers are working heavily on the recruiting trail currently and they are both evaluating and pitching at a feverish pace.

As we continue to breakdown this 2022 Clemson football recruiting cycle and what might be for the Tigers, let’s take a look at four prospects who are most likely to become Clemson commits next.

4. Travis Shaw (5-star DT)

Travis Shaw is a talented 5-star defensive tackle (No. 2 DT in the nation) who is far from finished with his recruiting process.

That being said, if we had to pick a leader for his services, we’d peg Clemson as the team to beat. While many other programs can get involved, this is coming down to a race between the Tigers and the UNC Tar Heels.

Shaw isn’t expected to announce a decision anytime soon, but all indications still point to the Tigers being in the lead.

He just recently visited Clemson again for the first time in nearly a year- though it was just a self-guided tour- and that bodes well for the Tigers moving forward.
