Wide Receiver (2 offers)

Commits: Adam Randall (4-star; Myrtle Beach, SC)

Top Targets:

  • Brenen Thompson (4-star ATH; Spearman, TX)

Clemson made two offers at wide receiver for this class so far and one committed (4-star Adam Randall) and one committed to Ohio State (5-star Caleb Burton).

While he’s not officially listed as a wide receiver, though, the top target left on the board at the position for Clemson is 4-star Brenen Thompson. Thompson is officially listed as an Athlete and could play either side of the ball, but he has been in contact with Tyler Grisham and the Tiger see him as a wide receiver.

Thompson (5-foot-10, 165 pounds) is lightning quick and would give the Tigers a different kind of receiver in terms of what he brings to the table.

Thompson was excited about the commitment of Klubnik and that has many believing Clemson is in the lead for his recruitment.
