1. How do the open position battles shape out?

The spring is for determining a pecking order.

We’ve got an open starting position for both center and left tackle along the offensive line. The running back position is completely open for grabs and we’ve got two starters gone at wide receiver.

Defensively, there’s an opening at outside linebacker and there’s going to be a battle in that cornerback room, as well. We’ll have battles down the depth chart at basically every single position also.

Position battles are started in the spring and coaches are going to be looking for those players who are putting their best foot forward.

How does that all play out? It should be intriguing to watch.
