There’s a lot of veteran experience and leadership in this linebacking core, even with Mike Jones Jr. exiting.

Trenton Simpson is going to be an absolute stud and we believe incoming 4-star Jeremiah Trotter Jr. has the ability to make an impact, as well. Clemson football fans will be excited about LB/S Barrett Carter (5-star) when he arrives on campus later this summer and he’ll absolutely have something to say about the depth chart in both the linebackers and the defensive backfield.
