Defensive Line

DE- Myles Murphy

  • Justin Foster or Justin Mascoll

DT- Tyler Davis

  • Ruke Orhorhoro or DeMonte Capehart

DT- Bryan Bresee

  • Tre Williams or Payton Page

DE- K.J. Henry

  • Xavier Thomas
  • Cade Denhoff

There are a lot of ways that the defensive line could look in terms of depth this season.

The starters along the interior- Bresee & Davis- are set. The defensive ends will have competition, but it will mainly be K.J. Henry and Xavier Thomas battling for a spot on the opposite-side of Myles Murphy.

The most intriguing part is the depth that will form behind those guys, particularly at defensive tackle. Could we see incoming 4-star Payton Page make an impact at defensive tackle? I’m also intrigued to see former 4-star DeMonte Capehart and what he can do after a full year in the system.
