How to watch, live stream the Trevor Lawrence Pro Day Showcase
The eyes of the nation will be on Trevor Lawrence this Friday morning when the former Clemson Tigers star showcases his ability for professional scouts.
Trevor Lawrence, who is expected to be the No. 1 overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft, will host his own Pro Day this week at Clemson instead of waiting for the Tigers’ traditional Pro Day, which will be in March and will be run by the NFL due to COVID-19 restrictions that will be in place this offseason.
Lawrence is going ahead and having the Pro Day so that he can have surgery to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder. By not waiting the extra month, he’ll be able to have more time to recover and is expected to be back before Training Camp.
As part of the Pro Day showcase, the ACC Network will be airing a one-hour live extravaganza on Trevor Lawrence. Starting at 10 a.m., the ACC Network will televise Lawrence’s Pro Day as he throws passes in front of NFL scouts. The show will be hosted by Rece Davis and it will simulcast on ESPN 2. Davis will be joined by NFL Draft Analyst Todd McShay.
According to a release by the ACC, NFL and ACCN college football analyst Tim Hasselbeck, ESPN college football analyst David Pollack and EJ Manuel of ACCN’s The Huddle will also contribute to Friday’s coverage.
Trevor Lawrence is a draft prospect unlike any other
If you’re looking to live stream the event, it can be done on any smart device by simply downloading the ESPN app. From there, you’ll enter your provider information and then be able to stream by selecting either the ACC Network or ESPN 2.
The amount of hype for Lawrence is absolutely uncanny and something that we’ve never really seen before from any other prospect.
NFL scouts look at his pure arm strength, mechanics and measurables and see a potential Hall of Famer. That’s why he has been so heavily on the radar of NFL franchises since his high school years.
It will be interesting to watch Lawrence throw- he’s expected to have Cornell Powell and Charone Peake out there to throw to- and to see him at the next level.
That being said, most of this is really more for show than anything else. We all know the Jacksonville Jaguars are going to take him with the first pick.
