What will the 2021 spring practice schedule look like for Clemson football?

The Clemson football team will be hosting Spring Practice beginning later this month as the Tigers look to get back out on the practice field and prepare for the upcoming 2021 season.

While Clemson football fans aren’t given access to spring practices, Tiger fans & media alike always look forward to seeing and hearing the reports coming out of spring camp, especially pertaining to heated position battles and to incoming freshmen who might make a major impact.

As we prepare for the upcoming spring season for Clemson football, here’s a look at what practice will look like.

Clemson football will begin practice in February and end in April

Dabo Swinney will stick to his typical schedule when it comes to spring practice. The Tigers will begin practice the last week of February and will hold 15 total practice sessions, including the annual Orange & White game which will be played in Death Valley on Saturday, April 3. There is no word yet on if fans will be allowed and how many might be able to come to the scrimmage.

Clemson has spring break the week of March 15-19 and won’t have practice that week.

What we expect to happen- and what the Tigers have done in the past- is that they’ll have about half of the sessions before spring break and then have about half the sessions when they come back.

That means we’re looking about around 7-8 sessions before spring break- beginning the last week of February- and then 7-8 sessions when the Tigers get back to campus.

It will be interesting to see how practice is conducted and if media members will be allowed in any capacity. More intriguing will be how the Tigers handle fans in Death Valley for the spring game. Could we see the first paid admission spring scrimmage coming this year?
