Three perfect landing spots for Clemson football RB Travis Etienne

Clemson football fans will have their eyes fixated on the 2021 NFL Draft to see where their favorite former Tigers will land at the professional level.

While many eyes will be on Trevor Lawrence, who is expected to be the No. 1 overall pick in the draft, there’s another Clemson football player who has potential to fall into the first-round and will be an absolute playmaker for whatever team he ends up a part of: RB Travis Etienne.

Etienne set all kinds of records during his Clemson football career, including the all-time rusher in program history and the ACC all-time touchdown leader. Etienne represented the Clemson program with class and he there’s no doubt he has the ability to make a major impact at the next level.

Here’s a look at three perfect landing spots for Etienne as he looks to begin his professional career.

3. Atlanta Falcons

Now, I know what you’re thinking. Why would any respectable Clemson football fan want to see their prized running back head to the Atlanta Falcons- a team that finished just 4-12 last season and hasn’t made it to the playoffs in three-straight years.

While the Falcons aren’t poised to win a Super Bowl, they do have some promising pieces. One of the major problems with Atlanta this past year was the running game.

If you put Etienne back there- and Matt Ryan is much better than most give him credit for- you could be talking about a fun offensive attack, especially with what new coach Arthur Smith is wanting to bring to the Falcons.
