Clemson football fans can get a serious deal on ACC Championship tickets now (sort of)

People are lining up for the chance to see the Clemson football program win its sixth-straight ACC Championship in Charlotte against Notre Dame.

The Clemson football team will take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish this Saturday afternoon in Bank of America Stadium in front of a limited capacity crowd.

According to the ACC, the game will have just over 5,000 fans in attendance due to social distancing guidelines in the state of North Carolina and the demand for the tickets has skyrocketed the price.

According to TicketIQ, the cheapest ticket on the secondary market is right around $872 with prices rising to as high as $2,5000 apiece for lower level 50-yard line seats. The average secondary market ticket price is $1,346 for the top-four matchup.

Interestingly enough, that’s actually much less than the opening prices for Clemson football tickets in the ACC Championship

There was a point where the cheapest tickets on the secondary market were upwards of $1,400 apiece. So, in essence, ticket prices are actually coming down.

But I wouldn’t get too excited.

We’re just a couple of days before the event and while that price may very drop a little more on Friday and into Saturday morning, the truth of the matter is that if you’re looking to buy a ticket to the ACC Championship game on the secondary market, you’re going to pay a pretty penny.

Don’t look for anything to go much cheaper than the prices you’re already seeing online and that means you could be looking at somewhere in the realm of $900 plus added fees per ticket.

Because of that, we expect many Clemson football fans to just take the ole’ couch route and watch the game from their television.

dark. Next. 2021 signees looking to start immediately

But make no mistake about it, you’ll still see plenty of orange in Charlotte on Saturday and in the stadium Saturday afternoon because no one travels better than the Clemson football fan base- even when demand is high and ticket prices are higher.
