Team Most Valuable Players

The most valuable players can be discussed, but these are three that I came to a consensus on.

Even though Travis Etienne hasn’t had the season rushing that we’ve come accustomed to, he still has accounted for 1,270 yards of total offense and 14 touchdowns. He has been the focal point of defenses this season and that has opened up the passing game in a way that many won’t understand on the surface.

Defensively, you can’t really argue that the MVP is anyone other than James Skalski. Skalski is the heart and soul of this defense and the unquestioned leader. He has grown up into that role and the unit plays with more confidence and fluidity when he’s on the field.

Lastly, there’s B.T. Potter who is the special teams player of the year. Potter has connected on 16-of-21 field goal attempts this year and has accounted for a total of 101 points. He has been consistent (for the most part) and has easily had the best season of his career to this point.

Next. OSU thinks it's entitled to a rematch. dark
