National media *shockingly* makes Dabo Swinney out as the villain

It would be absolutely shocking to know that there are national media pundits who are making Dabo Swinney out to be a villain over the latest FSU debacle.

For the last six months- and really, even longer- there have been a few handfuls of national media members who have seemingly watched from afar with the intent of just waiting for Dabo Swinney to say something that might indict him in some way or another.

When Florida State canceled its game with Clemson this weekend due to a positive test that made the trip with the Tigers, it was only a matter of time before those media members jumped on board to give their two cents.

That was especially amplified Sunday night when Dabo Swinney gave a very candid and honest response as to why the game was canceled:

Dabo Swinney’s words put him in ‘hot water’ again in the eyes of the media pundits who were just waiting

The national media continue to belittle or flat out ignore the fact that the player who tested positive did not practice when he had mild symptoms on Monday and Tuesday- continued to test negative- and only returned when he didn’t have symptoms, still testing negative, until his test on Friday.

You can say what you want to about Swinney’s ‘reputation’ or how ‘irresponsible his comments were’ but let’s not forget FSU played a game just a couple of weeks ago with Pittsburgh after the Panthers had a player receive a positive test on Friday.

Clemson met and followed all the protocols and Swinney is totally in the right for have wanting the game to be played- he even offered to move it back a couple of days to allow for more rounds of testing- but no one talks about any of that.

Next. Time to say 'nah' to FSU. dark

Instead, it’s just all about Dabo. Wonder why?
