The Clemson football team is coming off a disappointing loss from a couple of weeks ago and the Tigers will be fully focused on Florida State this coming Saturday.
Normally when you say a team has a chance for a ‘massive victory,’ you’re talking about an opponent of great caliber in which this can increase their rankings and perception. That’s not what we’re talking about here for Clemson football.
The Tigers have an opportunity to get a massive victory over their ACC rival and when we say ‘massive,’ we mean ‘massive-‘ as in a ton of points.
Scoring Prediction & Analysis for Clemson football vs. Florida State
The Tigers will enter this game against Florida State as close to 100 percent healthy as we’ve seen this season- and that still will see them miss LB James Skalski and WR Frank Ladson Jr., as well as a couple of other bodies that are listed as ‘day-to-day.’
That being said, Clemson will get the vast majority of its defensive starters back and starting QB Trevor Lawrence will return after testing positive for COVID-19 and having to sit out the last two games.
With those returning bodies and with the plethora of injuries and opt outs that are absolutely plaguing the FSU program currently, we should expect a ton of fireworks.
Look for the Tigers to be able to do basically whatever they want offensively and, while the defense may have a few troubles with injuries, they should also look much better against that putrid Florida State offensive line.
The end result? A major blowout for the Tigers.
