The Clemson football team is set to take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish this Saturday in South Bend with the eyes of the nation watching.
The No. 1-ranked Tigers and the No. 4-ranked Fighting Irish will battle in South Bend for ACC supremacy and an opportunity to take an inside track to a CFB Playoff berth.
The game is scheduled to kickoff at 7:30 p.m. E.T. and will be televised on NBC. Though no Tiger fans will be in attendance, an estimated 15,000 Notre Dame students, faculty and staff will be inside the stadium to create what will be at least somewhat of an atmosphere.
As we continue to prepare for the monumental matchup, here’s a look at the weather report for Saturday night in South Bend.

Analysis:
You want to talk about a perfect day for football weather? That’s exactly what we’re going to see in South Bend. It’s a high of 70 degrees and we’ll be right in the high-50s, perhaps low-60s at kickoff.
As the game progresses, the weather will get down in the mid-to-low 50s, with basically no chance of rain.
One thing that is intriguing from the perspective of weather will be how D.J. Uiagalelei plays in the cold. It’s not something that I think truly makes much of a difference in any stretch, but it will be interesting to see how he will perform after playing in California where games are typically much warmer.
Overall, though, it’s going to feel like a football night in South Bend on Saturday and it will be fun to watch as the Tigers and Irish clash in front of the nation.
