Clemson Football: Final score prediction vs. Notre Dame
The Clemson football team is set for the matchup of the year
The Clemson football team will take it on the road this Saturday evening to take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in a pivotal ACC matchup.
The No. 1-ranked Tigers and the No. 4-ranked Fighting Irish will be garner the attention of the nation as the matchup could prove to be a potential play-in game for the CFB Playoff.
The game will be the featured matchup for ESPN College GameDay Saturday morning and will kickoff at 7:30 p.m. E.T. live on NBC.
What the Final Score will look like for Clemson football
There’s no doubt that this has the potential to be an extremely entertaining game.
Clemson will be without Trevor Lawrence– who has now completed his quarantine period but won’t be available to play in the game– but that’s not all. The Tigers will have three valuable defensive starters in James Skalski, Mike Jones Jr. and Tyler Davis out for another game due to injuries.
Those absences give Notre Dame at least a glimmer of hope that they can somehow pull off an upset on their home turf.
The problem for the Fighting Irish is the fact that they simply don’t have athletes on the outside who can challenge Clemson’s defensive backs. Notre Dame is a run-first team and that plays into the strength of the Tiger defense, even without a starting defensive lineman and two starting linebackers.
In the end, Clemson football will put up some points, led by D.J. Uiagalelei and Travis Etienne, and they’ll be able to put Notre Dame away. This one will be close for a while, but it will be the Tigers who come out on top in the end.
Final Score Prediction: Clemson 34, Notre Dame 24
