Amari Rodgers – Wide receiver

As Rubbing the Rock has well chronicled, Amari had a lot on his plate coming into the 2020 Clemson football season.

Not only did he lose Tee Higgins to the NFL, but Justyn Ross was also announced as being out for the year after a degenerative neck issue was found. To top that all off, longtime wide receivers coach Jeff Scott left to become the head coach at South Florida and they replaced him with former Clemson football receiver Tyler Grisham.

No knock on Grisham, but this was his first on the field coaching position and that was also going to add to what Amari was going to have to work through as well.

To say that Amari Rodgers has done that with flying colors, would be an understatement.

The senior is having his best season as a Tiger and has very few equal across the country. He is one of three receivers in the country that is averaging 17 yards or more per catch and has at least 25 receptions.

He is on track to surpass his totals in his first three years combined in 2020.

Grade:

A+++. . Wide Receiver. Clemson football. AMARI RODGERS
