Three milestones that Clemson football will reach against the Syracuse Orange

The Clemson football team will take the field Saturday afternoon in a game that many have already written in as a win for the Tigers.

Clemson is favored by a massive 46 points and the Tigers have been rolling as of late, coming off an impressive 73-7 win over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.

As we continue to prepare for the Clemson football game today, here are three milestones we will see the Tigers surpass against the Syracuse Orange.

3. D.J. Uiagalelei throws his first career touchdown pass

D.J. Uiagalelei rushed for two touchdowns in the win over The Citadel a few weeks ago, but we still have yet to see the freshman throw a touchdown pass.

On the season, Uiagalelei has completed 11-of-16 passing attempts for 91 yards and has also rushed for 32 yards.

Saturday we will see the freshman throw his first touchdown pass. Uiagalelei was held out of last week’s game against Georgia Tech due to injury in which he would’ve likely thrown a touchdown, but that won’t be the case this week. He may even throw his first touchdown pass in the first half.
