Clemson is prepared to take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets this Saturday in Atlanta
The No. 1-ranked Clemson Tigers will be back in action this Saturday when they travel down to Atlanta to take on the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in Bobby Dodd Stadium.
The Tigers are coming off a 42-17 win over the Miami Hurricanes this past weekend in Death Valley and are now considered the sole favorite to make it back to the CFB Playoff and compete for the National Championship.
But every week in College Football presents its own challenge and even though Clemson enters this game as a massive 26.5-point favorite over the Yellow Jackets, the Tigers have to show up ready to play and compete, knowing they are going to get Georgia Tech’s best shot.
Prediction & Analysis for Clemson vs. Georgia Tech
While Clemson is a heavy favorite over Georgia Tech for a reason, there are certain components about the Yellow Jackets that could give the Tigers some troubles and it all starts with dual-threat QB Jeff Sims.
Sims has been very efficient thus far as the leader of that GT offense and there’s no doubt that he could present a problem for the Tiger defense with his rushing ability, even more so than what we saw Brennan Armstrong do a couple of weeks ago in the Virginia game.
That being said, there’s just a massive talent gap between the Tigers and Yellow Jackets.
Clemson has the two best players in the nation in Travis Etienne and Trevor Lawrence. We know that Georgia Tech will give the Tigers their best effort, but that still will likely not be enough. This Tiger offense seems to be rolling and I believe we’ll see them take the momentum they gained from the Miami game and keep rolling to another victory this weekend.
Final Score Prediction: Clemson 49, Georgia Tech 17
The Tigers continue their impressive regular-season winning streak and come away with another emphatic victory Saturday.
