2. D’Eriq King is Miami’s leading rusher

On the surface this may not seem like a bold prediction, but it is when you look at what Miami’s offense has really looked like through the first three games.

Miami has one of the top running backs in the ACC in Cam’Ron Harris and he has done an excellent job as a playmaker out of the backfield and perfect complement to King.

But running backs simply don’t have big games against Clemson and that’s why it will be up to D’Eriq King to make plays in the running game, likely on scrambling plays and designed draws (though Miami doesn’t run a bunch of designed runs, surprisingly enough) and he’ll end up the leading rusher on the night for the Hurricanes.

What makes this more of a bold prediction? King only has 157 yards rushing on 28 carries through the firs three games.
