Clemson football fans need to bring their rain jackets to Death Valley on Saturday
Clemson football fans traveling to Death Valley could be in for a wet one Saturday night when the Tigers take on the No. 7-ranked Miami Hurricanes.
The Clemson football team enters this game as the No. 1 team in the nation and the Tigers will be looking to prove to the country yet again that they are the premiere program. The matchup is the first regular season game since 2016 that the Tigers have played a top-10 opponent and the ACC showdown will be featured on ESPN College GameDay. The show will emanate live from Death Valley previewing the action.
While the weather for the first two home games of the 2020 Clemson football season was basically perfect, it doesn’t seem that the 19,000 Tiger fans who’ll be in attendance for the matchup will be quite as lucky Saturday night.
Clemson football weather report against the Miami Hurricanes (via AccuWeather)

Low: 64 degrees
Chance of Rain: 80 percent
Temp at Game Time: 68 degrees
Rain Percentage During Game: 45-75 percent

Analysis:
Bring a rain coat because this will likely be a wet one.
Though the percentage for rain has dropped slightly since the beginning of the week, there is expected to be some rain in the forecast throughout the day.
This may not be quite as much of a torrential downpour as the Notre Dame game back in 2015, but it certainly doesn’t seem like it’ll be clear skies and it could get ugly- we really won’t know the extent until game time and it all depends on how the Hurricane in the gulf progresses with speed and power.
This is going to be a fun one and it will be interesting to see how the weather affects the play on the field Saturday night.
