Clemson football fans will have plenty of options when it comes to College Football watching during Week 2

The Clemson football team is prepared to take on The Citadel Bulldogs later today in a game that Tiger fans will be watching intently, but not likely for the reason of intense competition.

The Tigers enter the contest as more than 40-point favorites against the Bulldogs and will be looking to build depth this weekend in their only non-conference match-up of the season.

Here’s a look at the Week 2 games across the nation that Clemson football fans will want to keep their eyes on and our predictions for those games, as well, with the predicted winners listed in bold.

A Clemson football fan’s TV Guide & Predictions for Week 2 of the 2020 CFB season

Noon Slate:

  • Tulsa at #11 Oklahoma State, 12 p.m. (ESPN)
  • #19 Louisiana at Georgia State, 12 p.m. (ESPN 2)
  • Syracuse at #25 Pittsburgh, 12 p.m. (ACC Network)
  • Boston College at Duke, 12 p.m. (ESPN 3)

This is actually a pretty decent noon slate compared to what we saw last weekend and all things being considered- as the SEC still hasn’t started back up yet. The Houston-Baylor game on FOX would’ve been fun to watch, but unfortunately that one was postponed due to positives cases within the Bears’ program.

Still, you’ve got a game between Louisiana and Georgia State that could interest Clemson football fans and then that matchup between Duke and Boston College could see Chase Brice pick up his first win as the starting quarterback for the Blue Devils.

Afternoon Slate:

  • South Florida at #7 Notre Dame, 2:30 p.m. (NBC)
  • #14 UCF at Georgia Tech, 3:30 p.m. (ABC)
  • #23 Appalachian State at Marshall, 3:30 p.m. (CBS)
  • The Citadel at #1 Clemson, 4 p.m. (ACC Network)

Of course, Clemson football fans will be tuned into the ACC Network to watch their Tigers take on The Citadel, but it wouldn’t be surprising if the UCF-Georgia Tech game or if Jeff Scott’s USF team somehow keeps it close against Notre Dame that we don’t see some Tiger fans begin switching back and forth as we progress through the afternoon and into the evening.

Evening Slate:

  • #17 Miami at #18 Louisville, 7:30 p.m. (ABC)
  • Louisiana Tech at Southern Miss, 7:30 p.m. (ESPN 2)
  • Wake Forest at NC State, 8 p.m. (ACC Network)

Not much of an evening slate in terms of depth, but that Louisville-Miami game is more than intriguing.

Some believe Louisville could become a legitimate threat to North Carolina and Notre Dame as the team who plays Clemson football in the ACC Championship and the Cardinals will have a chance to prove that Saturday night against a Miami team that has also shown potential for improvement, as well.
