Things we learned about the Clemson football special teams

  • B.T. Potter shows a renewed confidence, going 3-for-3 in FG attempts.
  • Will Spiers had a nice day punting the ball, as well.

B.T. Potter was shaky at times last year, but there was no doubt about any of his three field goal attempts Saturday night.

Potter connected on a 42-yard field goal in the second quarter and then followed that up with a career-high 52-yarder that would’ve easily been good from 60 yards out. He hit a 29-yard attempt, as well, in the third quarter.

Clemson secondary still has questions that need answers. dark. Next

Both Potter and Spiers had nice days and it was good to see them come through with consistency in the opener.
