Tight End

Starter: Braden Galloway

Braden Galloway is going to up the middle of the field for this offense unlike anything we’ve seen in each of the last couple of seasons.

He’s heads-and-shoulders ahead of any of the other tight ends at this point and it should be expected that he’ll see reps in the slot and at tight end.

Behind him, Davis Allen and J.C. Chalk will battle for reps. Allen has progressed really well and the coaches like what they have in him. Chalk, the starter last season, will likely be asked to play more of an ‘H-Back’ role this season.

Lastly, Jaelyn Lay is still coming along. Look for him to get some reps, but it’s clear that he is behind Allen and Chalk at this point in terms of the depth chart.
