There was some doubt about the Arizona Cardinals earlier this spring when the franchise said it wanted Simmons to focus on ‘one position,’ but those sentiments have since changed.

"“Isaiah’s role is going to be ever-changing, ever-expanding,” Cardinals Coach Kliff Kingsbury said following a practice last week. “We’re hopeful all the different ways he was used in college, that we’re going to have a unique package for him here as we get going. We’re going to keep it as simple as we can for him early and as he gets more comfortable in our system, try to use him in different ways.”"

Since camp has opened up, Simmons has worked with the linebackers and defensive backs, and it seems that the Cardinals really like what they’re seeing from the rookie and are looking forward to using his versatility to their advantage. Simmons looks like a monster and there’s little stopping him from having a big-time rookie season if the Cardinals utilize him in the correct fashion.
